1965 Chalkware Head Vase - Signed R. Dell'osso 1965 shops -Made in Italy - Some Condition Issues - She Exudes Style and Grace - Isn't She Lovely?

I think this head vase is simply divine. Look at those eyes, that nose....stunning!

This chalkware head vase was made in Italy by Ricardo Dell'Osso. It is signed and dated (1965) on the back. The vase was made in the 1960s, but it clearly invokes the 1940s. I adore her victory curls! She still has her original "pearl" necklace. She is about 10 inches tall and quite heavy.

There are condition issues. Paint has flaked off, and there are some dings to the plaster. The most obvious flaws are on her face and the back of her head. She has been at least partially repainted. The new buyer can repaint her again, or just love her warts and all!

She looks fantastic as a bust, but you can also actually use her as a vase. How wonderful are those photos? Think of the "hats" you could arrange!

Her condition is not the best, but she is rare and beautiful. I think you will love her! She is one piece from the shop that I will truly hate to see leave.
